When I started shaping this bed, I wanted it to feel like a soft little cloud that a child could really settle into. That’s why the sides are a bit higher—they give it that cozy, tucked-in feeling without making it look heavy. I used the cloud-like curves to keep everything gentle and playful, and the soft pink helps the whole piece feel warm, sweet, and comforting in a child’s room.
We wanted this bed to feel as cheerful and comforting as it looks. The sunny yellow color gives it a warm, happy personality, while the little “hands” on the sides add a playful character kids can instantly connect with. We paired it with a soft, textured fabric to make the whole bed feel extra cozy, touchable and inviting.
The bear shape really sets the whole mood for this bed. We kept the ears rounded and the lines soft, so it feels cute without being too cartoonish. The higher sides make it feel a little more tucked in and cozy, and the warm brown color gives it that soft, comforting look that works really well in a kid’s room.
We wanted this bed to feel like a quiet little bedtime story. The crescent moon and star details bring a dreamy, playful touch, while the curved headboard keeps the shape soft and child-friendly. We chose a warm cream fabric to make the whole bed feel calm, cozy and easy to blend into a child’s room without looking too busy.
When I was working on this one, I kept thinking about that little moment when a child sees a present and gets excited before they even open it. That’s where the gift-box idea came from. I went with this soft green because it feels calm and cozy, then added the yellow ribbon to give it that little pop of happiness. I really wanted it to feel like a special little spot that belongs to the child.
