The designer incorporated the concept of a volcano into the product design, using mountain shapes, flame details, and warm brown and orange tones. This makes the sofa more fun and meaningful for children, while also providing them with different ways to sit, build, and play.
We wanted this design to feel simple, useful and easy to introduce to the market. So we kept it to six practical modules that children can use for sitting, resting and play. The clean shapes and soft neutral colors also make it easy to match different homes and brand styles, making it a great starting point for a new product category.
For this design, we wanted the sofa to feel softer, warmer and more playful at first glance. We introduced gentle wavy curves, paired them with a soft pink tone, and chose child-friendly materials to create a more comfortable feel. At the same time, these details give the product a stronger visual identity and help it stand out from more traditional modular sofas.
For this design, we wanted to bring a small desert scene into the playroom. The soft curves remind us of sand dunes, while the cactus and sun shapes make the theme easy for children to recognize. We chose warm earthy colors to make it fun without looking too bright, so it can still blend naturally into the home.
For this design, we wanted to create more ways for children to play without making the sofa look too childish. We added arches, tunnels and different-shaped modules so kids can build, crawl, climb or easily turn everything back into a sofa. We chose a soft sage green to keep the overall look calm and natural, so it still feels at home in a modern family space.
